Long-term supporters of local rugby

We’re long-term partners of Counties Energy Heat, PIC Steelers and Counties Energy community rugby.

This year’s Counties Energy Heat competed strongly in the Farah Palmer Cup, with the squad featuring seven Black Ferns, including Ruby Tui, Hazel Tubic, Grace Gago, and Arihiana Marino-Tauhinu. The team finished fifth on the table, just missing out on advancing to the semifinals. We’re extremely proud of the Counties Energy Heat’s season and thrilled to continue supporting women and our local representative team.

The PIC Steelers are currently playing in the Bunnings Warehouse NPC in another year of competitive national province rugby. The side comprises local players and includes All Blacks number eight Hoskins Sotutu. The squad also boasts 18 players with Super Rugby experience.
